lauragshsu 6 Posted May 13, 2011 I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant and constantly starving. I'm afraid to step on the scale because I've been eating so much/so often. I never used to snack between meals, but I'm starving by 10am and then again by 3pm. I'll eat a heavily Protein bfast (scrambled eggs with cheese and either bacon or sausage) and still am hungry much sooner than I used to be. I'm not even that far along yet, so why am I so hungry? Has anyone actually gotten a fill while pregnant? Or is this (amount of hunger) normal?
MONICA321 0 Posted May 15, 2011 WELL AS SOON AS I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT I WAS UNFILLED COMPLETELY....
Heather_8.1.14 65 Posted May 18, 2011 No, I've never gotten a fill, I had a slightly unfill at 11 weeks. I dont think your doctor is going to fill you if you are pregnant though. Hang in there hun! You might not have gotten the whole morning sickness hit yet LOL.

He almost chewed my head out because I needed to get it unfilled and not filled! Well i didnt do anything and just left as is since I was able to eat without restriction. Its ok to eat alot while you are pregnant- the baby needs it and you being hungry all the time is normal since your body is working tripple to make a baby. I only gained 14 pounds throughout the pregnancy and that was completely ok. My baby was born 7lbs 6oz, and my post preganncy weight was as is when I became preganant. Good Luck!! kyethra 0 Posted June 18, 2011 I am glad I am not the only one wondering about this sort of thing. I just found out I was was pregnant the other day, but I have been eating a lot these past couple of weeks (I am almost six weeks) and I was worried I would need a fill so I don't gain. But according to my new what to expect, the morning sickness doesn't hit until around week six. So we will see.
losethemess 14 Posted July 2, 2011 It's a myth that it's ok to eat more while you are pregnant or that you need to eat more. According to research you should only be consuming 300-500 more calories when you are pregnant. It really all depends on you BMI. Coming from someone who gained wayyyyy to much during her first pregnant (over 50lbs to be exact) be congnicent of what you eat and the effects of what you eat. You'll pay for it later. You should be drinking for two not eating for two. Your Water consumption should increase your calorie should only increase slightly.
kyethra 0 Posted July 10, 2011 I did get a fill shortly after I found out-- I had been hungry and eating more it was a long time since my last fill. So I got a half sized one (for me that is .05 cc since I usually get .1 cc). I am happy with it. I will likely not get an unfill unless I am having trouble getting food/nutrition. And then I would only get a partial one.
