vinesqueen 2 Posted January 18, 2006 I just wanted to just say Thank-you to everyone here at LBT and expecially to Mr Alex for providing me with this forum. I have always found this forum a source of support and community. When I need to vent about being a Turtle, I have never once been accused of not following the rules, of cheating, of exageration or lieing about my journey. No one has told me that I'm a quiter, a finger-pointer, or having a victim mentality. I have been having a very difficult time accepting my status, and lately all I want to do is rail at the universe. I know it isn't really productive, but sometimes I have to kick and scream and basically act like a 2-year-old. Thanks for being here, and thanks for letting me vent when I need to. I wish there were something we all could do to make it easier for you...you have shared so much with all of us, and we appreciate you immensely. Everyone is entitled to kick and scream occasionally!! Your new avatar looks like a different person altogether (not that you weren't beautiful before), and you have kept your head high all of this time! You are one of the busiest bandsters around, and you are a huge success!! If you feel you need to have a big ole tantrum, girl, you go ahead!! Let me know and I will send you some extra energy to make it a good one!! I have them all the time, and they do make you feel better (as well as burn a few calories)!!! Please don't be so down, we are ALL rooting for you and your scale victory. The issue that is causing you grief will be discovered soon, and you can get off that turtle's back and hop a rabbit!!!!
