Protein Shake - Which supplement has the most Protein?

Hi,

I'm having my surgery tomorrow!

I want to ensure I get the most Protein I can once off the Clear liquids. Is there a specific brand, Protein supplement that offers the highests amount of protein? I keep reading that this is so important so I want to try and get the supplement that has the most protein available.

My understanding is that our bodies can't process much more than 30g of Protein at once, so you can eat more than that- it just doesn't do you much good.

That being said, I've used 2 types of Protein so far: GNC Pro Performance 100% whey Protein (20g mixed with Water, 28g mixed with milk) and Gold Standard 100% whey (24g mixed with Water, 32g mixed with milk). I like the vanilla of the GNC stuff, can't stand their chocolate. For the Gold Standard I like their Double Rich chocolate.< /p>

Thanks Rachel! I ended up getting some Whey Protein Isolate "chocolate" flavor at costco today. 20g per servering so if I make a shake with 2 scoops I should be good to go. Now I just need to get some Gas X chewables tonight so I'll have what I need after surgery tomorrow
