I have a great dr, Dr. Ben Clapp. Are you considering Mexico to save money? If so, this is not the time to think of saving money. If something should go wrong there is really nothing you could do. JonathanNY 0 Posted May 7, 2011 Hey there! I haven't gotten mineyet may 16th is my big day. Do you have medical insurance? Keep in mind that getting the band isn't ultimate. You have to go for either weekly or monthly checkups and if needed will require fills. Also consider the cot of travel and what if god forbid down the road you need It removed or emergency surgery? I can cheap out on buying name brands or skipping on certain things to save a few dollars but think about what you are saying. Don't do it.

Shelloyd 0 Posted May 8, 2011 I know someone who had their surgery in Mexico. She said it was a GREAT experience as well as a nice little vacation. She said she had a nurse come to hotel (on the beach) to check on her daily. She had NO complaints and is doing great. Hello all, I'm considering having my lapband procedure done in Mexico.
