Sandybells 0 Posted January 17, 2006 Google- liquid eggs (pasturized so it is safe) mix in with your shakes. Peanut Butter, add to shakes. (Blend with a stick blender) cheese is a good source of Protein. I don't know if you are able to eat or not yet. I hope this helps!
Iluvharleys 15 Posted January 17, 2006 I used Carnation Instant Breakfast, fixed it like hot chocolate and sipped it.

MyKdsDad 1 Posted January 18, 2006 Bluebonnet Soy Protein powders, or they make a whey protein also. Just be sure an take a multivitamin/multimineral with it. The Centrum chewable seems to be working well for my DW.
mousecrazy 2 Posted January 18, 2006 I used the canned Atkins Protein Drinks, but only chocolate. Body for Life drinks are okay, but the vanilla has that "egg white" feeling, yuck! I use Unjury Protein Powder, vanillla and unflavored. Cottage cheese is good. Each day you will do better and better, and be able to add more variety. Right now, it is SO important to take it easy, and let your esophagus and stomach rest and heal. Be nice to yourself, and put up with this liquid phase. You'll be glad you did. newgirl 0 Posted January 18, 2006 I, too had a hard time getting my Protein, 3 "meals" and Water all in. was banded 12/28. It gradually gets better. Just keep at it. Do breakfast, then after a couple of hours when you can drink, start the protein. Sip it. I alternated with a sip of h20. When the swelling goes down, you'll be able to take more in. MsButterKup23 1 Posted January 18, 2006 I like Isopure Peanut Butter & chocolate Swirl. It has 50 grams of Protein. Sometimes I just mix 1/2 and drink it and drink the rest of it later.
All_Smiles 0 Posted January 20, 2006 I add unflavored Protein powder (from GNC) to almost everything: cottage cheese, eggs before I soft scramble, refried Beans, Soup, mashed potatoes, chicken salad, tuna salad, EVERYTHING. 22 grams a scoop and I can't even tell it's there -smiles
Nykee 13 Posted January 22, 2006 there is this drink at WINCO (if you have one) it has 40 grams of Protein.. and it tastes real good. its chilled.. its like chia vanilla.. its white.. um, sorry I wish I knew the name..
Ruthie 2 Posted January 23, 2006 Flavored Isopure (in a glass bottle) available at GNC. I think it has like 40 grams of Protein in it. I also get the chocolate Protein which has 20 grams of protein and put it in the blender with a banana and a scoop of Peanut Butter and that gets in a good deal of protein. Jachut 487 Posted January 24, 2006 I made and still do, lots of burgers and patties. Lentil burgers, ordinary hamburgers, tuna patties, tandoori chicken burgers etc. I find them a really easy way to eat meat, as is bolognaise sauce on anything. I hate Protein drinks and wont do them so I have to make sure I do eat well.
