betheboo 40 Posted April 30, 2011 I never thought I'd be able to enjoy a sandwhich without bread but tell you what the Jimmy John's unwhich's are amazing!!!! Take off the mayo and bam! Low calorie huge unwhich, which equals two meals . The Beach Club, my fav, is only 233 calories no mayo of course. lol Plus it's loaded up on veggies plus yummy avacado. 1 isit5yet reacted to this
EwaBeachRN 0 Posted April 30, 2011 yummy! I looked up their menu online and it looks great. Too bad there are none near me. But when I can eat regular food again maybe I will try to make some of their sandwiches at home.
spoiltmom 44 Posted April 30, 2011 That sounds good! We don't have one where I live but there's one in the next town over. I'll have to try it out!
hopetolose 192 Posted April 30, 2011 I have one by my work. I will have to check that out. Sounds good and I need a good place to go for lunch
hapydayz 1 Posted April 30, 2011 I didn't realize they had a unwich...I am totally going to get that next time I go there! Thanks for the tip!
isit5yet 37 Posted May 1, 2011 I usually get the Turkey Tom Unwich, no mayo, add cucumber, add dijon mustard, add provolone and it comes to 193 cals/9.5 fat/7.3 carbs/22 Protein. Here is their nutritional site, which has a GREAT builder to add and remove items to see the values. http://jimmyjohns.com/menu/nutrition.aspx. If I did that sandwich without the cheese, it's 93 cals! Add a side pickle slice and it's a great "fast food" meal!
mattie7632 24 Posted May 1, 2011 I love the Beach Club! What makes it an "unwich"? Is it wrapped in lettuce or something or do you just get the meat?
isit5yet 37 Posted May 1, 2011 Wrapped in lettuce, and it's delish! It's wrapped tightly and with butcher paper, so the sandwich is easy to eat.
mattie7632 24 Posted May 1, 2011 Thanks! Can't wait to try it, haven't eaten there in awhile! Wrapped in lettuce, and it's delish! It's wrapped tightly and with butcher paper, so the sandwich is easy to eat.
