Lollicatt 36 Posted April 28, 2011 I just started my 6mo supervised diet. I have a bmi right at 40, no co morbities, and bcbs il. They advised me asl I need is bmi 40, 6mo supervised diet, and medical clearance and I should be.approved. What has been your experience with Bcbs IL? 1bjc 0 Posted April 28, 2011 Not to worry. I had BCBS of Ill also with a BMI of 37. I went throught True Results here in Phoenix. Was frist sent in on January 2nd for approval. Took 30 days for denial to come back. True Results sent in an appeal immediately, I didn't even know about it. I got the approval within like a week. I was banded on March 25th and am so happy.
