Tricare prime coverage San diego

Hello everyone, this is my first time on the forum:)

I'm 20 years old (yes I'm young hehe;) ) and I have been overweight my entire life and dieting the whole time too! I am 5'6 and weigh 235 lbs. I'm not sure if I meet the requirements because Im not 100 lbs overweight, but I have been really think about getting the lap band surgery lately.

I live in San Diego, CA, my husband is in the Navy. I want to know if any of you are from San Diego and have found a primary care provider that is helpful in starting the process? My provider is in Coronado and makes comments every time I go in if I have gained a pound or two or three ( which really bugs me because I am ALWAYS fluctuating) and although she is overweight herself I don't think she understands.

I need help! If anyone has advice I am open to it even if you are outside of san Diego, share your experiences, whatever:)
