I have been floating between 90-94 lbs. lost for the past two weeks. Of course, Easter didn't help any. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to jump start the weight loss?

A typical day of eating consists of the following:

Breakfast: 1/3-1/2 cup Egg Beaters and a slice of 2% cheese

Lunch: 4 ounces of chicken

Dinner: 4 ounces of chicken

I drink a bare minimum of 64 ounces of Water a day and nothing else. Also, I do a 45 minute "Boot Camp" three days a week and walk/jog two miles one day a week.

If that is truly all you are eating, that is not even 400 calories. That is to low. I would increase your calories

Do you take Vitamins? That diet seems a bit unhealthy. You starving your body and it's holding on to the weight. Eventually you will lose more weight with this diet but you can damage your body permanently.

Yes, I take a Multivitamin, Calcium, and Vitamin D daily. This diet is what my surgeon gives all of his Lap Band patients and he is one of the top surgeons in the nation. My calorie consumption is suppose to be between 600-800 calories daily with 60 grams of Protein daily.

When you add in the seasonings, Soups, salsa, cheese, etc. added to the chicken I cook, there are more calories added in. I've lost 90 lbs. since November 8th. So, my weight loss has been steady.

As for permanent body damage, I have more energy than ever. Also, since my surgery in November, I've been able to come off both my blood pressure and cholesterol meds. So, my body must be seeing some advantages to the weight loss.

I'd definitely say eat more. I started off eating 600-800 calories at my highest weight and lost pretty well, however I did plateau so I upped my calories and the scale moved again. You can't live off of 600-800 calories, especially not as you near a more "normal" weight.

Maybe switch up your exercise, add in some weight lifting but my advice is to eat more.

I agree... add some high Protein snacks...peanut butter and apples is always my go to. I keep frozen cooked shrimp onhand and just pop a few in the microwave. The nurse that does my fills told me that if I was exercising everyday... I needed to eat a snack in the am and the afternoon. I've always heard...and I don't know if it's true...but to break a plateau...cheat for 1 meal...eat whatever you want...then when you go back to eating the prescribed way, I think it kinda shocks your system...it's worth a try!! Thank you for the info. I may try adding a snack or two. Since I've started exercising, I've been more hungry.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
