Incision bleeding a little..

Recommended Posts

So maybe I am a worry wart, but when I was sleeping last night, I unconsiously tried to turn to my side to sleep (I am only two days post-op) and I felt something strange, so It woke me up and I quickly turned back to laying on my back. Tonight, I noticed that there was a little bit of blood outside of the steri strip and when I touched it, there was a little bit of blood on my finger. This is at the largest incision on my belly. I am wondering if I could have popped a stitch or if that is just normal from moving around that it may weep a little bit. Any thoughts about this?

I don't think it's a big deal, but call your dr. You will feel better.

I just googling the same thing . I had my lapband surgery on the 25th of April and today I noticed some blood on my shirt from from one of the incentions . I was a little worried thinking I might be doing to much but I think its from catching on to clothing but then that worries me if it can get infected !!! Ahhhhh I hope its ok !!
