isit5yet 37 Posted April 25, 2011 Maybe jump into the liquid diet for 2 days then back into mushies and solids? At least doing liquids will make you crap out all of the junk hehe
mattie7632 24 Posted April 25, 2011 Go grocery shopping, get healthy foods. Get rid of any crappy foods. Just make a decision and go for it I guess
pixistix 1 Posted April 25, 2011 I did a mini version of this over Easter weekend. This morning, I'm back to a Protein shake for Breakfast, healthy snack mid morning, tuna and whole wheat crackers for lunch, etc. Going to the gym tonight. I feel more hungry than usual, but that's it. I'm not punishing myself. I made a choice. I'm always free to make a different choice at any time. Back on the horse. I try to avoid the old "all or nothing" perfectionist thinking. I don't have to be perfect. If I make one little slip the whole day (week, month, year) isn't ruined (so I might as well go hog wild). I just get back to basics and do what's good for me. Frankly, I felt pretty crappy from eating all that crap. I'm glad I'm back on track now and will be feeling better shortly. Good luck to you. 54Shirley 105 Posted April 25, 2011 Start righting everything you eat in a journal. Add up those calories, and Protein.< /p> Let the numbers talk to you, and tell you the truth.
Tess2352 0 Posted April 25, 2011 I plan on doing the same thing next week. Just say that this was a vacation....and don't beat yourself up. Follow the suggestions from the other posters, and if you need a mini-fill, see your doctor.
Jess55 97 Posted April 25, 2011 Just jump right back in! I went away to the Bahamas 7 weeks after my surgery. I did not have a lot of choices of eating very healthy on that trip (most meals were brought to us) I admit I ate like crap too. Though I did walk on the beach most days. Luckily I came back to find i'd lost .5 lb. But when I got back, even though I got home at like 2 am. I woke up in the morning and was at the gym at 10am. So I jumped right back on and kept going. So believe me you can do it, dive right in!
Jenn1214 120 Posted April 25, 2011 Just jump right back in. Yes you made some bad decisions on vacation (and who doesn't?), but that's in the past. It didn't undo all the good you've done and will continue to do with the band. Don't beat yourself up.
