This is my first post here but I've been 'lurking' in the the shadows reading posts like mad.

I've been considering various surgeries for weightloss for a number of months and finally decided to go with the lap band. I was fortunate enough that my husband's insurance would cover the surgery if I went through a series of Nutritional consultations etc. I was lucky that my Doctor's office was very familiar with my insurance (Aetna) and I got my approval code a couple of days ago (WOOT!!). My surgery is scheduled for May 24th.......so get ready for the bazillion questions!

Hi Carol, congrats! I am also approved via Aetna and having my Surgery in Seatlle in May 11th!
