Finally Seeing the Light

I got a email Monday stating that I finally had all my hoops met and that it was submitted to insurance on Friday April 15, 2011. Got a phone call on Tue April 18, 2011 saying that insurance has approved me and I am good to do. Now its Thursday and I just got the call from the nurse and I am having surgury on the 6th of May. Also I only have to do three day liquid diet. I have started with shakes two weeks ago with two meals a day and one healthy meal. Lost 9 lbs so far. I am just so excited I can't believe I started this process back in Sept of 10 and I am now seeing the light.

First off congrats!! That light is amazing isn't it?!?! I started my journey back in Sept of 09 and finally was banded March 15. Good luck with everything.

I wish you much luck. I am going to see the light as of the 26th. I go for my pre op visit then get a date for my banding. I am nervous for sure. Please , stay in touch with me since our surgeries will probably be close. Maybe I should do the shakes and one meal since I am getting closer , like you. Are you diabetic? I am.
