pzeadow 0 Posted April 21, 2011 I got my second fill on Monday of this week and I would say that I now have restriction. My questions is that everytime I take a small drink I can feel the liquid going down. I am now not drinking as much liquid as I was previously because I can only take small sips. I just started on mushy food last night and nothing has gotten stuck, but I definetly have to eat very very slow and I can feel everything going down. I would not say it is necessarily painful but it does feel weird. Is this something that I just have to learn to live with??
Mimilou2004 13 Posted April 21, 2011 It sounds like you have good restriction that you will learn to adapt to. If you start having problems in a few days when you go to solid food then you might need an unfill. Drinking and eating slowly is good. Best wishes, Mimi
wonderwoman1984 0 Posted April 21, 2011 Hey how's u? Well I'd say no I dnt think its too tight if food is still goin down ok. I just had my 5th fill today and so have 7ml in mine. I have the same sensation in the sense that I can not drink a lot even Water but yet can eat mushy foods ok. I think its the displacemnt of air/water in ur stomach that causes the problem wen drinking and. I would say not to worry unless u find u cnt swallow mushy foods either x
