Ponderer 14 Posted April 16, 2011 I will be curious to see if you get any tips. I am 1 month out and have noticed a lot of gas too. I know what you mean about not being able to hold it in. I am just really really glad that I have my own private office at work or I would be in trouble!! I am not used to dealing with this because before surgery I was not a gassy person at all. TheRealSouthernBelle 22 Posted April 16, 2011 I hate to tell y'all that it's probably not going anywhere! It's crazy because as much research as I did I never heard about permanent gas. Before surgery I had gas maybe a couple times a week now it's all day everyday. Thank God I have my own office. It's sometimes painful. I asked the PA about it and she told me that for some patients it never goes away, but if that's a side effect of amazing weight loss, well, I guess I'll take it. honk 780 Posted April 16, 2011 I have become a gassy person. I don't think I was very gassy before surgery. You can try Gas Ex/Beano they have for the whole day pills.< /p>
