I'm about 4 weeks out and haven't had a drink yet. I'm not a big drinker anyways, especially after I finished college. I plan though, as I lose weight and are more comfortable out in the social setting, to have a couple of drinks. My doc's biggest concern about drinking wasn't damage to the band, but rather consumption of empty calories...

I dont notice any differnce.. at all.. ALTHOUGh I have not tried to drink when I was really tight yet..

I went out last weekend and I had to drink ALOT.. (AS ALWAYS) and I wish I didnt have to..

I guess after my fill (soon) I should try and see what happens...
