Hi Everyone - just joined and wanted to say hello. I am having my surgery on Thursday and am both excited and nervous. Mostly, I am anxious about succeeding....the pre-op diet has been a challenge . Any and all advice and support is welcome. I am so happy to have this forum to learn and share.

Hello! I just wanted to say welcome and congrats on your surgery Thursday. I was banded on the 5th of April. It has been a whole new and exciting experience so far. I do want to give you one word of advice...WALK. walk as much as you can after. The healing process will be much more comfortable, especially with the gas pains. The gas pains has been the most uncomfortable for me, Gas-x strips are wonderful to help with that too. Anyhoo I am now rambling. Good Luck!!
