CheckYes 46 Posted April 11, 2011 Whoever said a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step was right. It isn't too late. Get back on the wagon right this moment. Follow your plan. You can do this!
PROSAS287 0 Posted April 11, 2011 In the beginning you will be able eat the same so you should try to restrict yourself just so you don't gain back all that weight you lost just to prepare for the surgury. After you have had more fills you will not able to eat the same so this is a good time to slowly get used to limiting yourself. Remember the lap bad gives you the opportunity to slowly get used to the lifestyle change.
REDsparkles11 2 Posted April 11, 2011 Im totally in the same boat! I got banded 03/31/11 and I am starving! I am able to eat anything I want, there is a little discomfort if I eat too big of a portion, but not enough to make me not want to eat it lol. I want a fill so bad. Im trying so hard to eat small portions and stay on my pureed and just little pieces of fish and things like that. But its so hard. Im SO hungry! But Im trying to keep losing or at least maintain my 17 lbs loss, I dont want to gain it back, Good luck to you lady! I wish you the best, hang in there! Much love. Cocoabean 430 Posted April 11, 2011 After my post-op healing and before my first fill, I went on a cruise. My surgeon said "Have fun!!!" He also told me to not worry if I gained some weight during that time. He doesn't put his patients on a food plan during that time. Most people don't feel restriction prior to receiving fills. Do your best to eat right. Forgive yourself, move on!
54Shirley 105 Posted April 11, 2011 You don't want to hurt your surgery ! That's why you are to eat certain foods. I know your hungry, but once you start getting fills, your hunger will slowly go down, This takes time..... fill after fill, and it will keep getting better. trust me.... But it takes time. So get back on track o.k....
