trish151 33 Posted April 7, 2011 Woo Hoo, I just got done with daily workout and feel great. When I started this process, I did like the doctor asked and said I would be committed to at least 30 minutes of exercise. I have stuck to that every day except a few. I am just amazed at how much more I can do and how much I am actually enjoying it. This is so weird but so cool at the same time. Today I did 20 minutes on my stair stepper (had to wipe the dust off of it), 20 minutes on recumbant bike, 20 minutes on eliptical, and then jogged 20 minutes on treadmill. Then worked out both arms with some small hand weights. I feel that runners high people talk about and it feels great.

TexasNurseMom 5 Posted April 8, 2011 I feel the same way! I used to loathe exercise. Now I love it! On days I don't get to go I feel awful and I miss it

Jess55 97 Posted April 8, 2011 I had been going to the gym for years, but most of the time it was, "gah, I have to go to the gym". Now I found kickboxing and I love it, so I love going. I do feel a little happy to go to the gym too, but I rarely go anymore, since I've been doing 5-6 kickboxing classes a week
2beskinny 4 Posted April 8, 2011 There is nothing like the high you get from exercise...you have to go through some pain to get there, but once you are there...it is great! I ran 5 miles today and I feel fantastic! The size 12 capri pants that I bought about 3 weeks ago are kinda fallling off of me. The first 30 pounds of weight loss hardlly made a dent on me...now each 7-10 pounds almost means a change in size. Who would have ever thunk that I would be writing this? Pinkygirl 34 Posted April 8, 2011 I love going to the gym too now! I have always been a member to a gym but rarely went! I again joined before I had my surgery and barely went but now that I have the lapband I make sure to go atleast 3 times a week! You do get a high off working out, and when I don't go I feel down and blah. I feel wonderful when I walk out the gym and go to my car
