I made a old recipe tonight for my husband, and I had 4 oz. myself. It's good, and not that fattening. Iwill give the whole recipe for a family dinner, and you can break this down it's not hard.

GLAZED PORK CHOP BAKE.

Could use chicken instead.

6 chops (I use Boneless,)

1 cup unsweetened apple sauce

1 cup BBQ Sauce (your choice)

Spray a 9x13 pan with Pam

place the washed meat into pan

mix the 2 sauces together

pour over the chops.

Bake uncovered at 350 for 80 minutes.

There moist, and tender.

Hope you like it.

It's High in Protein to.

We've done this in a slow cooker (Crock Pot), on Lo for 6 hrs. Pork goes down easily, no getting 'stuck.' (8>)

Try it in the oven. It is not dry at all.... It's very moist !

The glaze then you spoon on each chop, just stays on it.

It doesn't Water away threw the heat.

The Glaze insulates the meat, so it's very tender.

Simple recipe, and a Great Glaze !

Oooh that sounds good. I'm always looking for easy peazy recipes like this. I haven't tried this one yet. I have a pork loin thawed out, I might it try it for that.

Anyone know of a low sugar BBQ Sauce?

I pulled one off this site, so you might try here. I've never found a ready made one that was truly low carb and/or that was actually palatable so I just make my own.
