Pinkygirl 34 Posted April 6, 2011 How about a side salad from McDonalds? Its only $1 and pretty satisfying. Also, What I do I get a flatbread 6in Turkey from subway and eat the inside with a fork instead of as a sandwich. And put lotssss of veggies and you have your Protein too. I heard JImmy Johns lettuce wrap sandwiches are good too! and low calories and carbs

Barbecue is big here, so I might go to a barbecue place, order a pork or turkey sandwich, and just eat the meat (no bun).
~Sabrina K~ 0 Posted April 6, 2011 I order all my sandwiches with NO bread & NO bun- Just don't want the temptation in front of me. A good bit of pulled pork sounds good.
vickyd 24 Posted April 6, 2011 Another thing that works for me is a crunchy taco from taco bell...I don't normally have issues with bread but I find that the crunchy tacos are less likely to get stuck than the soft ones and their website has nutritional info. Or you could try the grilled chicken from KFC...

Wendy's hamburgers seem to go down pretty well - juicy/moist. Best advice though is keep a few things at work in case of days like this (easy to say now huh!) Things that are shelf stable - like a fruit/nut mix (can keep you filled for hours), canned mandarin oranges, I've also seen some shelf-stable packaged meals (Hormel? - not sure the brand) that might work in a pinch. Granola is always good - although can be high in calories like the fruit/nut mix. A little goes a long way.

It is higher carb than I like, but I buy the low-sugar kind and it's super easy-- just add Water and microwave. I also have a fridge that I keep a Protein shake, turkey pepperoni, and cheese cubes in so I have access to Protein the majority of the time. In fact, my lunch today is turkey pepperoni and cheese
TexasNurseMom 5 Posted April 6, 2011 I like fajita tacos and just toss out the tortilla. With some Beans in the side. High Protein and keeps you full. Or Gilles chicken sandwich no bun. I keep tuna in my locker at work to avoid thus situation
MarcyLoo 12 Posted April 6, 2011 What about a salad from McD's with grilled chciken and light dressing? I did one once and only was able to eat about half. I love Taco Time tacos, and plan to order one in a bowl next time with no tortilla...and I know they have a light menu with a salad toto hat's like 200 cal? You could also run tot he grocery store. maybe some veggies and deli meat? My doc wants me to always have beef Jerky cubes on hand (I forget the brand but they are moister than some Starts with a J)
Melissannde 41 Posted April 6, 2011 jack links Jerky is what you're trying think of I bet. in the future, those little chicken salad or tuna salad packs by bumble bee are nice to keep on hand.
