kdyke111909 0 Posted March 27, 2011 I am so annoyed!! I am about 3 months post-op and I have a 7 cc in my band. My band is 11 cc... I am only down 30 pounds!!! I am hungary all the time! I don't understand why I am not losing more!! I just want to cry!!
jenn79co 13 Posted March 27, 2011 You average 10 pounds a month so far. I call that awesome!

jenn79co 13 Posted March 27, 2011 I am lucky to get 10 pounds in a month! I usually hit right around 8 pounds a month. You are right on track.......so no more worrying! Lol

CheckYes 46 Posted March 28, 2011 Your loss is awesome. Think of it this way... Aren't you willing to lose a little bit slower than you expected because this time - yep, this time - it will not come back?? You should expect a loss of 1-2 pounds a week. That's 4-8 pounds a month and you are over that by far! Pat yourself on the back and stay strong. You can do this!
Yetta2u 3 Posted March 29, 2011 I am in the same boat. 3 months out and lost only 20 pounds. I know everyone is telling us to be patient but I did expect to loose more weight by now. After saying that, keep up your good work. 10 pounds a month. that is awesome.
purple3797 5 Posted March 29, 2011 I am 4 months and 30 pounds gone so I think that you should be very proud of yourself! I was feeling down and my hubby said look at it this way that is 30 pounds gone that you are not gaining back..I did want to be in smaller clothes than this for the sping but I do have to look at the positive that my old clothes are falling off of me even if I am not exactly where I want to be. CocoLay 3 Posted March 30, 2011 yes!! good job! have you started exercising? that helps me! but my problem is I've lost 59 lbs but only 1 pants size. although I'm smaller everywhere & feel a lot more active. but you have to keep trucking. my doctor said that 100lbs over a year is a goal which would be less than 10lbs a month! so keep up the faith! you can do it!! Mommyto1 1 Posted March 30, 2011 You're doing great! I'm about 5 1/2 months out and I've lost a little less than 60 pounds, so an average of about 10 lbs a month. Keep up the good work
MollyRN 28 Posted March 30, 2011 Your weight loss is awesome - some people take 4-8 weeks to even start losing. The thing that concerns me about your post is that you say you are hungry all the time. The point of the adjustments is to get to a place where that is not happening. Make sure you are not having head hunger. And be proud of yourself! You are rocking it! Jess55 97 Posted March 30, 2011 I am just over 3 months as well and am just over 30lb down as well. Our weightless may be slower than some, but I feel so much better and I am happy with where I am at

This is where you will have to focus your self control. It does eventually go away once you kick the addiction to eating even when you are not hungry. It's easier said than done for sure. But there is a difference between hunger and what is in your head and you can distinguish between it and override that desire to eat.
Pinkygirl 34 Posted March 30, 2011 Heyyyy we are all on the same page! My 3 month annv was March 20th and I'm down 30 pounds too..... only 17 pounds are from the surgery tho so don't worry atleast we didn't gain 30 pounds! I have a lot of head hunger too! need to work at that...I also work out 2x a week with a trainer and work out on my own 1-2x. It's hard, but we will get through it!
