Coffee

I was told for every one cup of coffee you need to drink and extra 16 oz of Water. I drink Decaf duing the week but Saturday and Sunday... it's nothing but the full strength!!! Lots of different toughts on coffee, just make sure you get enough water!

I was banded 3-23-11 my dr said weeks for coffee !! i love it too and miss it

My doctor/nut. never said anything about not having coffee.

I have a regular cup every morning at work. FF French vanilla Creamer.

I have a skim latte every morning and another every afternoon. I live for them!

It cracks me up what different things people are told. I was told to avoid caffeine for the first 2 weeks post-op (not really sure why) but then it was ok to have some caffeine as long as I get in the 64oz of non-caffeine drinks per day. I am drinking 1 cup of regular coffeeg each morning and occassionally a cup of Decaf later in the day. I am just over 1 month post-op and have lost 35 lbs so I have noticed no effect from drinking it - good luck with whatever you decide!
