Plastic Surgery

Recommended Posts

I have been in contact with a surgeon for a few months. I decided to ring and make an appointment the other day and the person I had been talking to asked me indepth questions about my weight goals etc. I told her I have 9kgs to go before my surgeons final goal for me but 19kgs before my personal goal. She said she didnt think he would do it with that much still to lose and asked me to send pics of my tummy. I sent them and she wrote back telling me that most of my tummy was loose skin and would probably be able to be done. I have discussed a breat lift and Lipo on my back rolls as well. They know my wedding is in September this year and I would like to be fully recovered by then. They said if all goes well I will have it done around mid February. They also perform lipo on the tummy as part of the Tummy Tuck. Has anyone had a TT and lost weight after, I am thinking if they tighten the tummy muscles why cant you workout and tighten the skin as you lose more? I would also like to know if anyone has had lipo on their back before. I know it is alot to have done once but Id like to just have it all over and done with and thats it. Has anyone had a TT and a breat lift at the same time. I am wondering about pain levels and recovery time.

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
