kimky67 0 Posted March 21, 2011 It took me about 2 1/2 weeks before the hurting went away in the port area. I also hurt when getting up from a chair, bending over etc.... Hang in there it does go away!!!
nallygirl 4 Posted March 21, 2011 Hi Kelli! I'm 5 days post-op also and still have some pain in my biggest incision which I'm assuming is where my port is. It is really uncomfortable to sit in certain positions for too long but it seems to get better every day. Hang in there!!

That is what they told me largest incision, left side where the ol' port is! So have you went bak to work yet? I called by boss sunday evening and told here I wasn't real sure when I wld be returning. Before I thought I would be there Monday bright and early....I've read about so many who had surgery on Friday and was back to work by Monday....not so much for me! I'm hoping maybe by wed, I'll go back. I'm married, have 2 boys, and work full time in a domestic violence shelter as a legal advocate. Very cool we were banded on the same day! I started going to weight watchers when I was 14 I'll be 32 in April, I had had enough. I',m healthy all for except being overweight. I researched and LB was the best choice for me! I can't wait to get off meds for High BP and PCOS! So what is your story?
