doodlebugsmom 9 Posted March 17, 2011 So tommorow is my pre-op consultation with my doctor.. Any last minute advice??? I would make a list of any questions that you have. When I went in to the appointment I told him of what my fears were during surgery. I was scared of the tube in my throat and of getting sick afterwards. My doctor did a great job of addressing my concerns and on surgery day he went over them again to make me feel better. I feel that it is essential to ask questions now and share concerns. Part of his job is to make you informed about the whole proccess. In my case he showed me how small the tube was and then gave me an anti nausua patch behind my ears. Best of luck! ElizabethNYC 1 Posted March 17, 2011 Have to agree with the above poster. Just make a list of questions. That's all I did at my last consulate, addressed some last minute things and she answered them without batting an eye (to her and her team no question is dumb). Good luck!!!
