JAM2YOU 2 Posted March 15, 2011 Hi there, Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a case of the downers right before surgery. I'm on my 2nd week of pre-op liquid diet and have no energy at all. First week of liquids was fine and even handled it going out this weekend but for some reason starting yesterday I just seem like my get up and go has gone. They don't want you on any supplements for these two weeks so I know they are out of the question except for my multi and bp pill. Any suggestions before I go back to bed LOL ?? Thanks
honk 780 Posted March 15, 2011 Have you started an exercise program? I know it sounds counterintuitive working out when you feel tired. Exercising however releases endorphines which might help.
Jonna 4 Posted March 15, 2011 You're too close now to get down!! Just think what your life will be like in only 6 more days!! YOU can do it, get up and go out (as long as the weather is nice LOL) and enjoy it!! We have lived so long in these fat bodies and we're about to make the change of our life! You need to keep focused on something beside thinking about only having liquids, I agree with Honk start exercising and it will probably help increase your energy level. My surgery will be in April sometime, so I know I'm going to need all the "nudges" I can get from all of you!! YOU GO GET em' GIRL!!
