Jachut 487 Posted January 10, 2006 My hubby has a BMI of about 32, he'd have no real trouble getting banded in Australia. He thinks if he tries really hard for once and for all he can lose the 25kg he needs to lose. But he's been trying to do it for over 15 years. I think he'll end up getting a band at some point in time. He works 11 hour days sitting at a desk, he simply cannot keep to eating a small enough amount of food for such a sedentary lifestyle. He walks at lunchtimes etc but it only just maintains for sitting at a desk 11 hours and spending another 2 hours in the car every day. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Charlee 0 Posted January 23, 2006 My hubby was banded November, and I was a month later. We figured from the start that the best way to succeed would be together. I was scheduled to be the first one, back on Sep 30th---but Hurricane Rita sent us evacuating for a month up to East Tx, so my original date came and went. So, after rescheduling after the hospital was repaired, we ended the year with both of us banded! He's lost 50, and I've lost 25.
