Why does that left shoulder hurts??? I mean - what is the explanation?

It has been 6 months post op and once in a while I get it and it just baffles - why?

Check out my post under left should pain discussion. My dr found that my tubing was rubbing against my diaphragm and I had to have a revision to fix my problem. Good luck!

Some part of your band system rubs against your diaphragm sending a pain along the phrenic nerve to the left shoulder. Some people never get it. Some get it but then it subsides as they lose weight. Some, like me, find it gets worse and have to have their band removed.

I know. I had shoulder pain for 15 months, and finally got it fixed. At least I hope I did. It was really painful.
