Gina1111 0 Posted March 11, 2011 http://www.bicyclema...rd-bicycles.htm http://worksmancycle...l/cruisers.html Worksman cycles can make a bike for up to 500 pounds. They also have comfort bikes. I just wanted to share this info . It took a lot of looking to find, I found out most bikes are for 220 pound riders.

Rsilversea 2 Posted March 17, 2011 If you have a bicycle shop nearby, go to them. They are the experts and can help you. My first bike was a comfort bike and then I moved to a hybrid. Don't ever go to Walmart, Target or a big box toy store.
hoosierpoms 0 Posted March 17, 2011 I agree...even though the $200 bike sounds good...you can get a great bike for just a little bit more at the LBS... Good luck..... hoosierpoms 0 Posted April 5, 2011 Gina, How are things going with your evaluations at Dr. Ray? How far away are you from surgery? Are you still excited about the change in your life it will bring?? I know that when I was waiting for approval, I was scared, but so hyped......I had not shared with anyone, except the immediate household...so it was hard for me to keep quiet..LOL Have you been able to go by Bike Smiths to take a look at the bikes?? Were they helpful..? I am hoping you are doing well, and if you need to chat, please shoot me a email anytime...would love to help in anyway I can.
