sophinator 2 Posted March 5, 2011 Ok...I'm only a week post op and just was told I could have cream Soups. My dr. never specified an amount so my question is do I need to be measuring out an amount? If so how much? Last night I probably ate about a cup of Soup. I was full feeling but not dying or Thanksgiving full. Should I just eat a certain amount and stop? Or should I listen to my body? I don't want to damage anything but my thinking is also that soup probably slides right through...any input on this would be great!
reverie 49 Posted March 5, 2011 You're fine; just don't eat too much of it. Thicker Soups don't go down instantly.
honk 780 Posted March 5, 2011 I used a coffee cup (which is 8 oz vs mug which is much bigger). Since I was having Tomato Soups I also would have a Protein Shake an hour later.
HeatherinCA 10 Posted March 5, 2011 I wouldn't worry till you are on mushies. Don't go too crazy, and it should be low fat cream Soups.< /p>
