Have you heard of "Hypno-banding"?

I just came across it while searching for more info about the band. It's where the hypnotist tells you you're in surgery and getting the band etc. etc. and that now you will not be able to eat as much. I think it may very well work short term but I don't think I could kid myself for long! And it costs over $2k.

<FONT face="Arial Narrow" color=#008080 size=2>There was a tv special on this not too long ago; Lady had it done and she did lose weight. I think it's a bit crazy, but if it works it works I guess. I'd never do it, I'm too stubborn.

I just can't wrap my brain around the idea that we can be successfully hypnotized. I'd really like someone to hypnotize me so I can find out! My chiropractor says she does an acupuncture technique for weight loss too, I never stuck with it long enough to find out though!! hmmmm, kind of like my diets.....

Hmm I guess. I don't know that I'd spend $2,000. A ton of this battle is mental though, it could be helpful

Maybe if they started doing it for donations to rid the world of obesity, that would be worth trying. =)
