mattie7632 24 Posted March 2, 2011 Okay, no restriction = no weight loss. Haven't really lost any weight and I've also not been eating cabbage with meat sauces for most meals lately! So guess what, tomorrow I'm cooking up another batch of cabbage, (with alfredo & spicy lean meat & turkey sausage sauce--YUM) and seeing if I can't lose some more weight on my own then! reverie 49 Posted March 2, 2011 Good luck..though restriction doesn't guarantee weight loss. Enjoy your cabbage.
HeatherinCA 10 Posted March 2, 2011 Eww Cabbage haha. Doesn't alfredo have like 100 grams of fat..? I love turkey meatballs with marinara, it's tasty! don't miss the Pasta.

I think I want to try this! Is there more to the receipe or just cabbage, alfredo, spicy lean meat, and meat sauce?
mattie7632 24 Posted March 2, 2011 I experiment with sauces. I like the alfredo best. Basically I just cook up a little turkey sausage and lean beef, pour over the alfredo, simmer, and that's the sauce. It's really good. But as the resident dieticians noted above, the sauce has actual calories and your $20k restriction won't guarantee weight loss, so you might not want to eat this. Better stick to no-cal foods I think I want to try this! Is there more to the receipe or just cabbage, alfredo, spicy lean meat, and meat sauce?
Noturningback15 45 Posted March 2, 2011 LOL! I will try it anyways because I think I am smart enough to track my calories and fat for the day to still enjoy a 1/2 cup of it at meal times. LOL! Knowing me I will make it even un-healthier by adding cheese to it! I LOVE Cheese! I experiment with sauces. I like the alfredo best. Better stick to no-cal foods I eat plenty of calories including those from alfredo sauce I prefer to make my own however; less processed BS. But if you're relying on "restriction" to jump the scale, well..good luck. My restriction was only $400 lol. Spaghetti squash is a good substitution as well for Pasta @ the other poster. mattie7632 24 Posted March 2, 2011 Yes it is very good! (spaghetti squash) I'm not the best cook so I botched the last one I baked by forgetting it was there for an extra hour or so Will definitely try again though.

Too lazy/impatient for that. I put it in the microwave after I cut it in half in a long-ish dish with Water. Put it on for 5 mins (depending on the size) and it usually comes out fine. Manda87 3 Posted March 3, 2011 Yuck. Try counting calories. Try exercising. You can't eat cabbage for the rest of your life. .... well you could, but could you really? Try changing your lifestyle. That usually works.
mattie7632 24 Posted March 3, 2011 Did I seriously just get lifestyle advice about a freaking cabbage meal post!!!!! Hey newsflash people!!! Your unsolicited advice is not welcome to most of us!!! The poster will ASK for it if that's what is wanted! We're tired of reading this kind of crap. Also, another newsflash!!! If you are working so hard to lose weight, stop giving credit to the band!! Your freaking diet is why you're losing weight, not your "tool" you love to brag about! 2 Humming Bird and isit5yet reacted to this
