I am increasing my exercise and drinking my Water. UUUGGGGG!!! Maybe I need to see nutritionist??? THX ahead!
reverie 49 Posted March 1, 2011 How much have you upped your exercise? Generally when you up your exercise, (ie. longer running time, more weight, more cardio, etc) your calories need to follow Maybe try eating 100 calories more a day, if not 200. Play around and see what works.
Native Girl 13 Posted March 1, 2011 Maybe if you change the way you do things it will kick your metabolism in the rear, I heard that if you get out of your regular routine and add something different you will get it going again. Don't get frustrated because we are all going through it. Just do something different, like only taking walks instead of working out at the gym, and make sure to drink you 64 oz of Water and your Vitamins. heidib 15 Posted March 3, 2011 I have been doing biggest loser workouts. They are 10 minutes each of cardio but I do 3 of them in a row. You use you larger leg muscles a lot Lunges squats ect... It kicks my butt!
honk 780 Posted March 3, 2011 Heidib, I feel your pain. I am a slow loser. You mentioned .5-1 lb a week. I am averaging 1. It could be you will just be a slow loser. Frustrating I know. Are you at restriction yet? It has taken me 6 months to get there and hopefully I will start losing faster. Remember the research shows an average of 1-2 pounds a week so I would plan on being happy at 2 if you can get there. I have a very conservative diet and exercise an hour a day 7 days a week so somethings are just the way they are.
