Louismom 2 Posted February 25, 2011 Hey everyone =) I am just curious how the rest of you have done. I was banded Nov 15, 2010. I had my first fill 6 weeks post op, and I am 1 month overdue for my 2nd fill due to insurance issues. I am going in tomorrow for my second fill and I am looking forward to it. Down 32 lbs by the way. My question, for those that have past the 2nd fill mark, did you finally start to have some restriction and did you find the weight loss began to move along more? I was stuck at 30 lbs for the past 4 weeks, then I just suddenly started to lose again. Woo Hoo!!!!
honk 780 Posted February 25, 2011 Not to be a downer but no. I did not see any restriction until 9.4; saw more at 10; hoping to be in my green zone now at 10.6.

reverie 49 Posted February 25, 2011 I think it varies per person, and the amount of 'restriction' you're happy with. For instance I have no fills and have lost fine and like the restriction I have. Others like to be a bit tighter and it may take more than a few fills to get there. It also depends on how aggressive your doctor is with fills. Also, restriction =/= weightloss. It's truly about calories in and calories out. Restriction helps but getting fills doesn't guarantee a drop on the scale. Good luck!
