nomorejellybelly 77 Posted February 23, 2011 I use about 1/4 cup of "ranch-style" spicy pinto Beans that I make, heat them up, scramble an egg with it and put it on top of a tostada shell (think of a big round tortilla chip) which are about 56 calories each. I add a little salsa, a tiny bit of cheese and sometimes jalapeno slices. It's roughly maybe 250 or less) calories. This fills me up pretty good. P.S. I also love low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese with peach/strawberry preserves.
TexasNurseMom 5 Posted March 3, 2011 That sounds yummy. I found some really good tuna the other day. It us actually a patty already made and comes in the pouches like the regular tuna. They had several flavors and they are nice bc I know exactly how many ounces I am getting without having to weigh it. And it is a good Protein source without having to eat plain tuna or add extra fat like mayo. Really good on top of a small salad with Dijon mustard. Which by the way is my new favorite condiments! I bought that in the Mesquite Grilled flavor and also bought the Pink Salmon Teriyaki. They are from Bumble Bee. I am hoping they are good as I have not tried them yet. Was glad to read your post saying they are good.
