the best me 6 Posted January 7, 2006 The only ones I like are Balance Bars in Honey Yogurt Peanut. They are not as High Protien as the others but they are edible. So there ya go.
Jessiebear 2 Posted January 7, 2006 I like the South Beach bars. You can get them at Wal-Mart. I like the chocolate & PB & the chocolate fudge. They are kind of like rice crispies that are flavored & then the bottom is dipped in chocolate. & they are high in Protein.< /p>
Jachut 487 Posted January 7, 2006 I think they all taste yucky. Well the ones I've tried anyway.
Alexandra 55 Posted January 7, 2006 I like the Atkins Advantage bars, but the ones I buy don't say anything about low-carb. They have 21 g of Protein and 10 g of Fiber, without a lot of sugar. My faves are chocolate Peanut Butter, mocha crunch, smores, and a couple of others. I don't like the granola flavors, they're too painfully sweet.
mousecrazy 2 Posted January 7, 2006 Hey, John. I LOVE Zone Perfect bars...especially Fudge Graham. They have 16 g. Protein, and taste great. I am not sure about the carbs. The hard part is remembering they are a Meal Replacement, and not to be eaten inbetween meals. For you, though, you need a few more calories because of how hard you work-out. You might throw a couple in during the day, or before you exercise...see how it works. Try them. They are good. Cindy
Jill_S 1 Posted January 8, 2006 I like the South Beach bars. You can get them at Wal-Mart. I like the chocolate & PB & the chocolate fudge. They are kind of like rice crispies that are flavored & then the bottom is dipped in chocolate. & they are high in Protein. The chocolate/peanut butter ones remind me of a desert my mom used to make called "Special K Bars". This is what I have for Breakfast every morning - I love them. I also like the Atkin's Chocolate/Peanut Butter bars, and the Almond Brownie ones. Most of the Atkin's flavors leave me cold, but these two are better than most. They make a nice change for me sometimes.
DeLarla 22 Posted January 8, 2006 Steer clear of the lemon one that starts with an "L" (Luna Bars, I think.) I couldn't even gag down a whole one. YUCK!
ADF139 0 Posted January 9, 2006 Slim Fast Carb Option Breakfast bars. The chocolate chip tastes just like a chocolate chip granola bar.

RayLandry 18 Posted January 9, 2006 I buy the Balance bars. They are decent in taste and have about 15 grams of prorein and 23 grams of carbs. Not ideal, but not bad either. Best of all, I find them at my 99 cent Only Store! I buy about twenty at a time!
kt_199 0 Posted January 10, 2006 http://products.apexfitness.com/cgi-bin/apexfitness.cgi/results_cat?mv_session_id=ESHPh4gk&mv_pc=8&mv_arg=FIX&cat=Fix by Protein Bar, I'm assuming you are looking for a snack/meal replacement with 20 - 25g of Protein. Appex makes some very good products, especially the "Cookies." Very healthly and quite tasty. Also, if you like(d) Snickers, go to a local GNC and try the "Nitro-Tech" bar. They have a flavor that is as close to snickers as I've seen. You MUST get them fresh because they don't sit well on the self and will start to liquify. Best "health" bar out there when its fresh. They usually sell in singles so you can try a couple of flavors. I also like the Worldwide Sports Pure Protein Bar in the Stawberry flavor
