BandedJenny 0 Posted February 15, 2011 I went in for my second fill today. I had 4.5 ccs and my surgeon put in another 2. That makes a total of 6.5. Before this fill, I hardly felt any restriction. But now, I feel super tight. I can drink Water but very slowly. I just got my fill about 3 hours ago. Is this normal? Will it get better?
Humming Bird 275 Posted February 15, 2011 I reached my sweet spot with my 2nd fill. They had also put in a fill at surgery. Just go very slow with the liquids and very slow moving through the creamy, mushie, and so on. I was VERY tight with my "sweet spot fill" for about 2 weeks. I think most people know within a week or 2. If you can do liquids and stay hydrated it's worth riding it out at least a week.
vlp1968 83 Posted February 15, 2011 I agree with the above post in terms of waiting it out, but I wouldn't wait a whole week. You may have swelling from the fill that will subside. However, this shouldn't take more that 3-4 days IMHO. I was too tight after fills, hesitated to go in for a small unfill, and suffered needlessly. I had restriction after the unfills. While your waiting it out, I found watered down protien shakes helped. I hope you feel better soon.
BandedJenny 0 Posted February 15, 2011 I feel better today. Still tight but I was able to have a Protein Shake (Muscle Milk light). It did take me about an hour to drink it. I think I just need to give it a couple of days.
