LapNYC 3 Posted February 15, 2011 I know there's a plastic surgery forum but it's quiet over there. Has anyone done their due diligence as far as tummy tucks and breast lifts and (small) implants are concerned? I need minimal downtime because I have young kids and don't feel like sharing the information with anyone. I'd also prefer not to die on the table. Anyone have any thoughts? Any advice in general? vlp1968 83 Posted February 15, 2011 I had a Tummy Tuck and boob job Dec. 1. My experience was the boobs didn't hurt at all. For me, tummy tuck wasn't bad either. I did have a complication, I retained a lot of Fluid. He had to open me back up to clean it out. Everyone has different pain tolerances and reacts to anesthesia differently. My sister was pretty out of it for 2-3 days after her surgery, I was moving around almost immediately. Hope this helps and good luck with your surgery. I would do it again in a heartbeat. How long was it before you were back to most activities??? I have 3 kids and I'm wanting to do both at the same time also. By the time I get it done my kids will be 1, 5, and 10. How many weeks should I plan to need help with the two little ones?

LapNYC 3 Posted February 15, 2011 vlp1968 - so you're saying that adding the boobs wouldn't cost anything as far as downtime is concerned? Did you get a lift as well? If had surgery on a Friday could I pick my kids up from school and appear normal on Monday or Tuesday? Thx!
