JodiDarlene 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Hi, My name is Jodi and I live in Denver, Colorado I was banded on 5-21-09 and I have only lost 30lbs. My surgery with through Dr.Brown at Colorado Bariatrics. He is really a great doctor. He has a great staff as well when it come to nutrition and counseling. My starting weight was 260 pre op weight. I am struggling with exercise because I have knees that are bone on bone and so even short walks become an issue. I am trying out a few new Ideas like yoga, the exercise ball, and simple weights to see if I can get things moving in the right direction. I am looking for someone that will just be there to talk to. I fell into some bad habits because of personal issues and now I am correcting them. I am just a bit discouraged. Looking for a friendly smile even if it is long distant. thsisme 14 Posted February 13, 2011 JodiDarlene, take heart, do what you can within your tolerance level for exercise. At least you are open to experimenting in finding a type of exercise that you can do. Its hard to get out of bad habits, but it can be done and you are taking a step in the right direction.
