adriennemarie 0 Posted February 13, 2011 i'm also interested in this question. i'm only about 3 weeks post op, and am a size DD. i'm realllyyyy hoping that theres a lot of fat in my breasts and once i lose weight my bra size will decrease as well! i do have to say though, that ive lost about 20 pounds since the day of my operation, and im currently wearing a bra that i used to "muffin top" over, for lack of a better word and it no longer does that! i definitely agree with zeniada though, wait until you reach goal then decide for yourself! LapNYC 3 Posted February 13, 2011 I went from a 40E to a 32B. Be careful what you ask for!
IreneV 0 Posted February 13, 2011 I was happy to see this post as I thought it was just me. Down 25 lbs and went from a 46 to a 42 (sports bras) Put on an old regular bra 38C, a little tight but the cup was right used to be a D.
Soon2besexynslim 1 Posted February 13, 2011 Do you notice they are saggy & droopy once you lose the weight or do they get a little perkiness back?!
Lindz629 0 Posted February 13, 2011 So far I've gone from a 42D to a 40C.
kll724 3,055 Posted February 13, 2011 I have lost 104lbs; I was a 44dd, I am a 36c. I wear a d cup, tho' because to me the c is just not comfortable, yet. I love to shop at Victoria Secret instead of Lane Bryant or wherever we fat girls had to shop. Don' t do anything yet. It is far to soon to be talking about a breast reduction. My breast are saggy, but I think that when most woman are my age(62), they are saggy. I can say for my 40 year old daughter, her breast look great! She never really had cleavage when she was fatter. She does now,and looks good. Go for a nice fitting wherever you shop when you need an adjustment. Karen(kll724)
Humming Bird 275 Posted February 13, 2011 I agree with those who said wait until you are at goal to even think about doing anything with the girls. At that time it is YOUR personal choice, not the nurse's or anyone else's. I went from a 42DD to a 36C after 111 pounds lost.
Kiskis 56 Posted February 13, 2011 I would wait until you reach your goal weight. I am 44 yrs old & 44DD. I hope to get back to a 38C. Age may change this. Is so then I will get my boob reduction then. I to could have one now too but I would like to do natural first.
Cocoabean 430 Posted February 13, 2011 42D to a 36C. Why does the nurse think you need a reduction? Are you having back pain/problems? If not, say thank you for your input. If there is no medical reason for it, and you don't want it. Don't do it!
AquarianCrab 8 Posted February 13, 2011 I was wearing a 46C before beginning my pre-op diet, then down to 46B on surgery day. Today, at 4 weeks post op, I can comfortably hook the 46B on the next tighter eye, but the cup is too big. The extra fabric scrunches under my shirt and looks awful. In the meantime, for work I lay a folded up sock inside my bra underneath to help fill out the cup so it doesn't look so bad. When the band part is too big, then I'll buy a smaller cup size as well (geez, that's going to be an A.....)
