OK, so I am new here. I have been banded for 2 weeks...one month on the liquids and begin eating today. 11.5 pounds gone! Hope to learn from banders with experience on just how it goes. I was a little discouraged that for the last week on shakes I only lost half a pound. But I am hopeful the first fill will help!!!

Welcome to Band Land ! I read your post,and don't be to dissapointed about the weight. Do to surgery it's only Water, you'll know when it is comeing off, when you pee like there's no tommorow.
