Ok, question for you Guinness drinkers. The fact that they use nitrogen...it is still bubbles, isn't it? When it is served, it has a head on it. So, they don't use Co2, but..aren't bubbles bubbles??

When I have beer, I prefer a Hefeweizen. It seems to not be as bubbly as a domestic. Plus, I much prefer the taste.

I miss an ice cold beer (Corona) more than anything else. I have tried to drink it but it makes me feel full and bloated. If I want a drink, I have a shot of Malibu chilled. I can drink it straight and theres nothing mixed in so no extra calories on top of it.

As far as alcohol having a greater effect....I believe its because our tummys arent full of food. You will always need less when you drink on an empty stomach.

We get together with friends and family quite often and there always good food and drinks. I've given up most of the foods and my addiction to Diet Coke...can't take away my alcohol too!

"CHEERS!"

I have my beer no problem, I have a lot of restriction too! I'm at a 7.20 CC and have lost 70 lbs. I drink light beer (coors or bud light) always on an empty stomach, I have no problems. I guess if I was eating and drinking I would get bloated. I can't do coke though, I do pour me a beer in a glass fast and let it foam up, then put in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, when I go get it, I prepare a second one for the next time, repeat until happy.

Dont over do it though, good luck.
