hi,i got banded nov 09 an atotal of 69 lost first year,over time i gain an lost 10 lbs since,but for last 6 months i have bad acid reflux an cant sleep throwing up fom a cup a nigh.whats going on.iv been to doc gasto,he say dont eat after 6 ,iv went back watching what in eat an i dont eat after 2-3 pm an still having problem...help!!!

I'd go see another doctor, maybe the doctor who banded you. Acid reflux isn't something to ignore. Your band may be too tight which could be causing the reflux. Definitely see a doctor.

I agree with Reverie, if you cannot see your band surgeon, go see a band surgeon. Not all gastro doc's are real familiar with bands. Go see a doctor who is.

i developed acid reflux after surgery... i know it's no fun!! i've been woken up by choking and it's scary.

you can try taking an over the counter acid reflux medication like Prilosec but you might benefit from just a tiny unfill.

you should call your surgeon!
