FeelingGroovy 2 Posted February 8, 2011 Home from the hospital and feeling great so far!!! The surgery went well. I was able to get up shortly after getting to my room. I did a few laps around the hallway. I am a little sore but no major pain...which is good b/c I am a lghtweight when it comes to pain. Ive made a yummy Protein Shake and will have some broth soon. My mom is staying with me for a few days but I would have been fine alone to. Hubby works long hours so its nice to have her here. I am ready for this new journey and looking forward to taking back my life. I am tired of beeing ruled by food. I know its going to be a long haul but I know I can do it. I need to take it one day at a time. Peace~ Ally
Pinkygirl 34 Posted February 8, 2011 Glad to hear that everything went well! You sound like me when I had my surgery! It was a piece of cake wasn't it? only troubles I had was getting up from the couch. I didnt want to bend my stomach lol my poor sister had to come help me everytime. It was pretty funny because I wouldnt bend my knees and kept like a stiff board. Now to a speedy recovery Good luck! Home from the hospital and feeling great so far!!! The surgery went well.
