ManningFan 10 Posted February 7, 2011 I was banded on Friday and wrote a post about it but it got deleted. I was supposed to be banded on Wednesday but they rescheduled because of the snow storm. When I showed up on Friday they were running about 2 hrs late and both of these things made me wonder if it was a 'sign' to reconsider. To top it off, my hospital Bracelet was missing the little nub on it so they had to make a new one. I felt like there was all these things saying don't do it. Surgery day went pretty normal everyone was nice and I was only at the hospital for 2 hours or so after I woke up. My scars look small but there is a lot of glue so it is hard to tell right now. When I got home I was +7 pounds but 2.5 days later all of that is gone again. To be honest I felt pretty awful, the pain meds were decent but they gave me just enough for 2 or 3 days. I have barely eaten, most notable meals were broth, Vitamin Water, Jello and applesauce (probably shouldn't have but needed some energy) I think most of the reason I feel so terrible is I have no energy. The pain is going away, the gas is going away and overall I feel better every day. I havent been hungry at all but definitely feel like I have no energy, some pain and some nausea. Looking forward to feeling better and getting my life back on track. Still feeling unsure if this was right for me or not but what's done is done. I can promise you I'll be losing weight and this won't all be for nothing, that's for sure.
