Ideas/Suggestions for plateaus???

Hi there. I've had my band for just over 2 yrs. now and have consistently lost weight - A LOT of weight. Anyhow, I've not changed my diet or started /ended anything that I've been doing throughout this whole journey, but I've been in a holding pattern for about a month and a half now. Also (over the past few weeks) I've gained 5 - 7lbs. I know that's not a lot, but I've NEVER gained with my band. :o

Anyway, I figured that if I added more Protein to my diet and decided to focus on that, then my loss would start back up, but so far it's been a no go. I'm fluctuating between 5 & 7 lbs. above where I was stalled. I'm worried because I know I've lost a ton of weight already, but I still have a long way to go and I'm starting to get discouraged.:blink:

So, I'm wondering, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get past a stall/plateau??? I follow a low/good carb diet and do not eat rice, Pasta, potatoes or bread. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :D

Congrats on your weight loss! I would change up your exercise routine and what your eating. Your body after awhile gets accustomed to things and they way you are doing them and thats why you plateau. You basically just need to shock your body with something new and you will definitely see results! Good Luck.
