Stupid question about restriction

I am at 6.5cc in a lareg band (I am assuming 14cc but not sure). I have had problems with things getting stuck since the last fill so have eaten each bite seperately. Tonight I had chicken salad and an eggroll (no lectures on food choices please, I was experimenting). I didnt wait for each bite to pass but let them "build on each other". I felt a different feeling in my chest, which I assume is my pouch. I felt a feeling of fullness which was different than normal.

Is this restriction??

There's nothing wrong with an egg roll or chicken salad. I eat chicken salad on a fairly regular basis. My .02...no this is not restriction if you're feeling pressure and just continuing to pile food on top of it. More likely, you took too big of a bite or didn't chew well enough for that particular food.

When I feel pressure (hard to explain what it feels like...you'll just know), it's because something is blocking that opening, but not really enough to consider it stuck. I've learned the best option (unless I want to end up sliming and head over the toilet bowl), is to just put my fork down and wait a few minutes. Then I pay closer attention to the next bite. At some point...and it's not really anything I can put my finger on...just a 'feeling'...I know that one more bite and it will be one bite too many. I've learned to listen to that little voice even if I still have my allotted portion on my plate.

I'm not sure what you mean by "pass" as you don't want food passing through the band to the larger stomach; you want it to stay there. By pass do you mean swallow? I would not recommend eating so fast that you are chewing a new bite before completly swallowing the last one. I've only had pain after swallowing twice both from baby carrots that I did'nt chew enough and I was not anywhere near restriction at the time. I would normally say that if you are having this much trouble swallowing you are too tight. My only concern is that chicken salad in my opinion is a slider; because of what ever you mixed it with (laughing cow cheese is a good low fat option.). I think I may be at restriction I get the sensation of no longer being hungry vs actually feeling "full".
