georgia girl 35 Posted February 22, 2012 I made the Alfredo sauce last night and it was good. I used the garlic herb cheese instead of Swiss and omitted the garlic powder. Definitely a keeper!

kr8160311 36 Posted March 13, 2012 I am impressed with all the various recipes, and glad you're all enjoying them so much. With no disrespect, what is all the fasination with food? As I move along the banded journey, I keep becoming less ans less interested in food, or eating for that matter. I used to think and fantasize about food all the time. But now it is way down on my list of things. I don't feel like eating that much anymore. Come to a WLS website to get off on food. To be skinny, one will have to think and eat like a skinny person does. Sorry, just had to say. to be honest most of us have family's to feed each and every night . I'm not sure what your story is but most of us have to feed kids and our husbands ( i know my husband could care less about recipes) but if I can make something I can eat with my family that would be awesome especially if its low cal/low fat.. I usually eat something different at different times!

honk 780 Posted March 13, 2012 I think I actually think about food more. I dunno, maybe years of dealing with food and issues regarding it. I would love to be in a place where I didn't really care about it, but don't know if that would happen without therapy! I think about food more now than I ever did. Mostly because I have to plan my own meals. I used to just stop by McD's or somewhere else and eat crap. For me lack of planning is my biggest down fall. If I have a meal planned I don't have an excuse to eat something unhealthy.
georgia girl 35 Posted March 13, 2012 Planning is a must for me, too! I log everything I eat. If I don't plan, I will fail. Simple as that.
