sunshawnloc 0 Posted January 27, 2011 I had my initial consult in October, I had psych eval, dr's talk, watched emmi online, did several support groups, talked to the nurtritionist, had some of my preops done. Finally got an approval from my insurance company. I received a call from the Dr.'s Office yesterday and they told me they had good news, they told me I was scheduled for my procedure on 12/5/2010. (this was the earliest appointment they had) I am furious, can someone please give me advice to calm my nerves and temper.
TylerAshton567 0 Posted January 27, 2011 Well you can always find another surgeon where are you from? Why they can't get you in til december is crazy!!! Your pysch eval should be good for a yr and as long as you meet ur insurances requirements for the surgery u can switch doctors. Sometimes insurance companies can recommend surgeons too so you might want to ask them.

If it was me and I was set on that physician group, I would become the biggest pest! I would call once a week and see if they have any cancellations! (By the way - I have done this before and it really works!)
